Happy Father's Day..

So blessed with David's gardening skills .

 Love how he creates a little secluded paradise for us in our backyard.

Last Saturday we had dinner outside next to our waterfall and it was just perfect.

Flowers are just now starting to grow ,

 we also planted a small herb garden and a few tomato plants...nothing big,

mostly for color and taste..

This year we bought new patio lights, a great find at Target, they look amazing at night...

I took these pics with our Nikon at 6 am,

 my favorite light of the day for pictures...

just enjoying beauty...

A trip to Idaho.

I took a quick trip to Idaho to spend a couple of days with my friend Angie.

 The 4 hour drive was a slide show of  beautiful  land ...

So green with the recent rains

seems that it goes on forever,

 which I could stop at every farm and just get pics of the horses and farm houses, love to drive by and imagine how people spend their lives surrounded in such beauty. 

I did not have my Nikon with me,

but I manage to capture the splendor. 

A patio corner for beautiful container gardens.

Really enjoyed planting herbs last year in containers.

I love the look and the prettiness of them.

 This year I came across a few containers that I purchased with the intention of creating a colorful flower arrangement of plants as well as some foliage and texture.

Found some ideas at the Home and Gardens magazine.

 Now if just can stop raining so we can play in the yard. 

Gardner Village~A bit of sun...

After a week of rain,

 Saturday came all sunny and warm.

I invited Cristine and cute Leah

to Gardner Village.

It felt really good to be outside and to feel the sun.

Love all the shops, my favorite of course is always

 "Welcome Home", found a little blue bird

for my shelf at my Red Room

...looks darling.

Gardening...

Yesterday Cristine and I spend a couple of hours gardening.

 We planted flowers and our small herb garden.

It was fun and relaxing and a cherished time for us specially after she went through weeks of finals at the U and I had a couple of extra busy weeks myself.

Life really gets crazy

and when this rare moments came along

 is a blessing in our lives.
