We had a wonderful vacation at The Bahamas. White sand, sunny days and lots of sightseeing of beautiful places. Our cruise took us to Nassau where we got to see and enjoy Atlantis. From then we went to St Thomas, where we spent time at the beach and toward the end of the day we walked through the "Diamond District" where serious jewelry shopping goes on day and night. Our next destination was Grand Turk, where really it wasn't much of anything, but their beaches where absolutely a dream and that is exactly what we enjoyed...time in the sand, water and total relaxation. Our last stop was San Juan - Puerto Rico. This was the icing in the cake...I could have stayed days just taking pictures. Loved it..the colors, the history, their people. So much to see. They call San Juan "Isla del Encanto" or "Enchanted Island" and that name describe it perfectly. David and i had a wonderful time together. Our room at the cruise had a lovely balcony and we were pampered every day. Very blessed indeed.

Chile at the end of Summer.
At the beginning of March Krystel and I went to Chile for 9 days. We visited with family, we ate amazing pastries, bread and lots of organic food, mainly because they have so much agriculture and everything taste fresh...March is the end of summer in Chile and the weather was delicious..The great memories of this trip will always be the fact that I had the opportunity to travel for such a long trip with Krystel, spending all that time with her was priceless. She was always smiling and hugging everyone back...she was loving with her abuelita and aunts, uncles and cousins and most of all she was for 9 days listening to nothing else than Spanish and communicating the best she could with everyone. Spending time with my Mom was also priceless, mainly because we are so far away from each other. Her home is always like the home I remember, her walls are always full of family pictures and they are always flowers everywhere. My mom is passionate about gardening and even in winter she always have flowers growing. This time she had a beautiful lemon tree with small lemons that were so beautiful to admire. We stayed one more time at the beautiful Dreams Hotel in downtown Valdivia, we always make this a pampering time for my Mom. From our rooms we had the most amazing view to the Calle-Calle river and could walk to all the shops and bakeries. So grateful that we had the chance to do this trip as I always not sure when I will have a chance to do this again.

A beautiful room.
This past two months we dedicated ourselves to re decorating Cristine's old bedroom at our home. We decided to keep it as a cozy guest room. David and i picked the colors and then ordered every thing online. Finally we found a wall for Ashley's pictures http://ashleybealphotography.blogspot.com, I really wanted to find a special spot in our home and in here they look perfect, the colors are also perfect. We are still looking for a chair to add to the room, we have looked around and have an idea of what we want. For sure we'll come across the perfect one sometime soon. The turquoise pillow was a gift to Cristine from grandma Schmidt many years ago. This was made for her in her favorite color and it seems like the perfect detail to add to the room....
