Christmas 09

Cristine and our little friend Leah.
Krystel, Leah and Cristine
Krystel enjoying a rare quiet moment this holiday as her work at the Post office was super busy during the season and as well for Cristine that just got done with finals at the U. I love these moments of sisterhood closeness, all the laughs and the late nights talking...

David's favorite Christmas gift, a book I found for him of Frank LLoyd Wright. He has several architecture books, but this is not an ordinary book, it is a Pop-up book , where some of his most well known work comes to life in a pop-up picture, the most amazing one is the Guggenheim Museum that it is in our itinerary on our spring New York trip.

Our beloved Jasmine...as she gets older every year life is slowing down for our girl. She is content with her small treats, not much appetite for food and long naps through the day. Still exciment from her when is time for a walk, but she seems happier to be coming back to the house instead of a longer walk. She found some comfort this season for her aching bones on my new red rug. So grateful for this beautiful companion and how everyone in the house and also friends seem to spoil her on their very own way.

Festival of Trees

Everything at the Festival of trees is donated. The trees are decorated and purchased by individuals, organizations, families and businesses. Thousand of people join in efforts by contributing countless hours to give " a gift of love" to children in need. The Festival of trees is one of our favorite holiday traditions.
