Easter ~

After so much rain

we have a sunny day to enjoy.

David came home with a hanging basket 

of pretty yellow flowers

and I love to see it hanging outside through our kitchen windows. We are ready for color,

 for herbs

 and flowers .

Topiary - A fun Spring project.

This is lovely, creative and fun

 and a great way to use all the leftover pieces of paper

by using a flower punch

and brads to create flowers...

Villarrica-Pucon

This is the lake area

 with the "Volcan Villarrica" making a strong presence

 in the background.

If you look close you can see the smoke  as this is an active Volcano. The picture of us between the flowers is the area most beautiful handmade treat.

 The flowers are made in wood

 and the colors are vibrant and beautiful.

 Ever few years I notice how they create a new flower design.

Artesania- Crafts

While we visited Villarrica and Pucon

we stayed at my uncle Gaston and aunt Eliana's condo by the beach,

My aunt is very artistic

and she decorated  with several pieces handcrafted by local artisans. 

We were so amazed by so many beautiful things.

Chile is really a place were art is alive and

people are inspired to make beautiful and unique things

 ...my kind of place.

The month of April will be definitive about Chile.

 We took about 700 pictures and it is hard to pic a few, but I will do my best to show a bit of everything.

 It was an amazing experience to watch David enjoy this beautiful country for the first time.

We loved spending time with our family and savoring the natural beauty of each place that we visited.

 We spend three days in Valdivia visiting with my uncle Gaston and his family.
