Ready for Chile.

On our way to a beautiful summer to my beloved Chile.

This will be an amazing trip mainly because I'm not doing this alone at this time.

 David and Cristine will be along for the long fly and to experience my wonderful family.

It was quite the preparation...

Cristine trying to turn in all kind of pending assignments at the U , David learning Spanish, which he has done quite well, and myself trying to finish all the pending items in my professional life,

 it is really a lot of work to get ready for a 14 day vacation.

 We are all under the spell of great expectations,

 of ready for relaxation

and to enjoy every minute of it.

Yesterday

I enjoyed a shooping day with my friend Nadia

and she introduced me to this darling little place

 "The Art Garden",

located at 917 Vine Street.

Love the work of local artist and the unique beautiful things that I'm always able to find at places like this.

 Felt in love with this sweet looking little bird

 and we found the perfect spot for him.

Be inspired..

An afternoon of baking.~

Today we had one of those rare Sunday afternoons when

nothing is plan and Cristine took some time from her busy homework load to bake with me.

 I love my Magnolia Bakery cookbook from NY City.

 We made the Magnolia vanilla cupcakes and they turned out amazing.

 More than  that spending time with my youngest daughter that seems to be going a 100 miles an hour all the time was truly priceless.

February is always a fun month for card making and craft ideas. I love the Bo-Bunny card..but i do love every paper they make for me to play and create. The love frame is a fun idea. My friend Ashley gave me the print as a gift and i found a frame at Pier one that is red perfect, added a little touch on the side. Ready for Valentines...
